Commenting on the award, Mark Fleming, Chief Operating Officer of SCA Property Group said:

“We are honoured to receive this award.  Next month we will be celebrating the tenth anniversary of our creation.  Throughout that period, we have stayed true to our strategy which is to deliver defensive, resilient cashflows to support secure and growing long term distributions to our unitholders by investing in convenience-based retail centres weighted to non-discretionary segments and with long leases to quality anchor tenants. We now own or manage over 100 convenience-based centres across Australia, having acquired 64 centres over the last 10 years.  We have recently been included in the ASX100 Index and feel optimistic about our future growth prospects which will come from a combination of comparable NOI growth, acquisitions, developments and funds management.”

The Haben Wollongong Trust, managed by Haben Property Fund, has been awarded the 2022 Unlisted Property Fund of the Year. The award recognises the strength of the Haben management team and the opportunity for investors to participate in a focussed and targeted strategy to deliver on value.
