Core Property has reviewed the Haben Wollongong Trust, a single asset unlisted fund managed by Haben Property, a specialist fund manager with a track record of acquiring high quality, low risk assets across Australia.
The Fund offers an investment in a 50% interest in the Wollongong Central shopping centre in Wollongong NSW. The remaining 50% will be owned by the JY Group, a Hong Kong based property investment group.
Wollongong Central comprises four assets with retail trade centres, an office tower and a multilevel carpark.
- The Manager aims to undertake a substantive repositioning of the retail offering to increase the rental income from the Property.
- The Manager also aims to unlocking potential capital gain from planning and development approvals across the site.
